Relax The Back is North America's largest specialty retailer of ergonomic and comfort products - and we want to stay that way. Our franchisees are essential to achieving this goal. We have developed and refined a franchise business system over the past 20 years that has proven to create consistently successful results.
Location Assistance. Location. Location. Location. Finding the right location for your Relax The Back store is a key element for ongoing success. Your location impacts your store visibility, accessibility and monthly expenses. Our development team helps you with this vitally important decision by providing you and your real estate broker guidance and key information on the best locations as you investigate available properties in your territory.
On-Site Training. A member of our Retail Sales and Training Team will come to your location for a one-week on-site training visit to help you and your store perform at the highest level from the day you open. Your Retail Sales and Training Representative comes for the first five days of your soft opening, and then again for your Grand Opening. We assist in the setup, merchandising and staff training of your store. After your Grand Opening, your Retail Sales and Training Representative provides ongoing consultation and support to build your business.
Merchandise Support Our Merchandising Team guides you in one of the most daunting tasks for franchisees, developing initial inventory. We will provide you with on-site training and guidance in Visual Merchandising to make your store the polished retail environment to effectively sell products.
Mentor Program. You will be assigned an experienced franchisee to be your mentor. Your mentor will be as geographically close to your location as possible. With a knowledgeable peer nearby, you will see the extraordinary benefits a close ally can offer. You will learn from your peers on best practices of what works to help your business grow and be successful.
Before your store opens, we ask that you spend four days working with your mentor in his or her store. You will receive hands-on training in human resources, operations, inventory management, point-of-sale system, marketing, merchandising, finance, and accounting.
