Relax The Back University
At Relax The Back, we don't just give our new franchisees a manual and our best wishes. Our comprehensive training is top-notch and represents the level of commitment we make to our valued franchise owners.
New franchisees spend ten days at Relax The Back University (RTBU) held at the headquarters of Relax The Back Corporation in La Palma, California. We schedule four sessions of RTBU per year. Ideally, new franchisees attend RTBU two to four months before their targeted store opening.
The first week of RTBU concentrates on in-depth product knowledge, spinal anatomy, client relations and sales. Field trips to vendor facilities and various local Relax The Back stores enhance our curriculum with hands-on training and interactions.
The final phase of RTBU focuses on the keys to running a successful operation. The senior staff of Relax The Back Corporation lead sessions on the following vital topics:
- Business planning
- Financial management
- Human resources
- Using the RTB Intranet
- Marketing, advertising, and public relations
- Merchandising & initial inventory requirements
- New product development
